A. That is part of the autocomplete feature that can be turned off in options. In IE go to tools/ internet options/ content/ autocomplete/ settings/ forms. In Firefox go to tools/ options/ privacy/ history/ remember what I enter in forms and the search bar. You can also delete the entries by double clicking on an empty box, drop down to the first item, and then press delete for each entry. l q

Click Tools at the top of your screen,a menu will drop down, click on Internet Options, then click on the Content tab. Under Personal information, click on the AutoComplete box. search terms for real estate law case about lease and standing of alterations made?
Q. the case: a space is rented, altered (allowed by landlord) under the condition that at the end of the lease it will be returned to its original state. At the end of the lease said removal or alterations are not made. Former tenant claims that the alterations improve the space. Appraisers agree. Landlord still wants money to remove alterations. What search terms or case law is there that can be used in researching this situation?
Asked by jslockly - Wed Dec 12 20:04:47 2007 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. the situation here is what is in writing, if everything is verbal the tenant is in trouble, because no alterations are allowed by lease. if its in writing saying the alterations are allowed then the landlord is not going to collect, unless it says the alterations must be removed upon termination of the lease than the tenant is in trouble. it doesnt matter what the appraisers say, this issue will be determined by what is written. so decide where you stand and act accordingly. if you have it in writting tell the landlord to go pound sound if not be prepared to pony up.

What search terms should I use when looking for dental books?
Q. I usually search for oral health, dental health. If I search for dentist I get concerned the book results will be basic kids books. Also I try to search for gum disease or periodontology and the more sophisticated words.
Asked by john - Sat Apr 3 17:24:39 2010 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The search terms you are using are a good place to start, but what kinds of search terms you use depend on where you are searching. For example, if you are using a public library catalog and use "dentist" then you're right, you may get children's books, but if you're using a university library catalog, you are less likely to get children's books. Some catalogs will allow you to truncate words to do a search that gives you variations of a word. For example, you could try periodont* and then you could books that have the words periodontics, periodontist, or periodontology. You should also try dentist* to get dentists, dentist and dentistry. The Library of Congress uses the term "dentistry" in its catalog and most academic (university)… [cont.]

A. Go into Tools - Internet Options - and on the General tab, look at the history area. You then click 'Clear History'. It will also allow you to decide how long to keep search items in the bar for. However, i should warn you, do NOT delete your cookies, which are also on the same tab. this will prevent you from accessing your internet altogether. trust me, i did this once at work while covering my naughty email-checking-in-work-ho urs self!! Q. How important is it to put a BLOG on the top level of a DOMAIN in terms of Search Engine Optimization?
Asked by Ashok Reddy premier - Sat Oct 31 09:26:39 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. I'm guessing that you are asking whether your blog should be installed in the domain's root directory (and have the blog's home page be the same as the site's home page) or if the blog should be installed in a subdirectory or subdomain (and have a link to the blog from the domain's homepage--or from elsewhere on the site) As far as SEO goes, it doesn't really matter much whether the site is in the root directory or a subdirectory. Installing it in a subdomain is a different matter, though. At Metapilot, we tell clients that as long as you have links pointing to the blog from other areas of the domain (and from other domains of value), the blog will most likely get crawled and indexed by search engines. If your blog posts are well focused… [cont.]

While researching, what other search terms could I use?
Q. I'm searching for articles on Salinger's use of childhood innocence and/or how it is lost in any and all of his stories. I have plenty of databases to search, but for some reason I cannot find anything useful. I have searched with the terms 'Salinger', 'childhood', and 'innocence'. Any suggestions on what else I can search for? Thanks!!
Asked by Swedish_Chef - Sat Feb 21 15:52:02 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Go to Google and type in ---Synopsis of innocence lost by Salinger You will get lots and lots of information, but remember to put everything in your own words, the teacher has read all these articles, verbatim, over and over, dito the Term papers for sale. the best thing is reading the book from cover to cover, and then giving your own interpretation of it's meaning. And watch out for cliff notes too. Teachers see those written by students every time they assign Salinger's books. It is helpful if you get a list of the book the teacher will ask you to read next year, and then read them this summer, so you will have it easier next year.

Asked by Stacy F - Mon Feb 18 08:46:04 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Go to this free website and type in your domain name - It will show you the most frequently used words on your site. These are the words people will have to use when search to find your site, because this is what Google thinks your website is about. If you don't like what Google sees, then change around the words on your site.. add/remove words until it looks just right.

A. Depends on your browser and toolbar. If you are using IE (and really why haven't you switched to Mozilla Firefox?) and you don't have a Yahoo toolbar, then go to Internet Options, go to Contents tab, Click on Autocomplete and Clear Forms. Clearing your history will clear the browser window, but not the search bar. If you do have the yahoo tollbar, then there's a pencil next to the window, just click on it and do a clear searches. If you have Mozilla (congrats, you have a safer and more stable browser), just go to Tools/Options/Privacy/Sav ed Forms and clear forms. You can also uncheck the Save forms and search bar option.

Now left click on the word Properties until the Internet Properties Window opens for you. Then locate the three buttons entitled: Delete Cookies, Delete Files and Clear History. Now click on each button and select OK each time Windows asks if you want to delete these files. Then click on the OK button at the bottom of the screen to exit the Internet Properties window. Note: The above six step procedure will work for all earlier versions of Windows as long Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher is installed on that system.
